Joakim Noah relishes playoff shot with Chicago Bul

On draft day 2007, when Joakim Noah wore a seersucker suit and bow tie, the flamboyant rookie couldn't contain his excitement over joining a team coming off three straight playoff appearances.

Then the wheels fell off, and Noah endured a 33-win season that featured two coaching changes and a run-in with assistant coach Ron Adams that led to his teammates voting to extend a team suspension.

That makes this season's experience all the more rewarding for the starting center, who joked he might hyperventilate from excitement before Game 1.

"This means a lot to me," Noah said of the Bulls' playoff berth. "I feel I've gone through a lot of adversity here. The playoffs always have been my goal. I'm not taking winning for granted. I'm really enjoying it."

"Regardless of what happens in those series, it's great because it's something I've never gone through before," Noah said. "It will show me exactly what is out there and what I need to know. I feel I can learn a lot regardless of how the series goes. And best-case scenario? We win."

Here's an idea: lets not scare off anyone willing to contribute from time to time -- who knows, sometimes people take a while to warm up to posting on here. When did this place get so hostile towards new people anyway? No wonder there are so many people that just read instead of posting...

Ton. I just happened to look in the new member list and saw a new member who signed up without a username somehow? I fladded them as a Spammer so you could look at it and do whatever you want with it. It may be legit cause there is an avatar picture but it just looked strange to me.
