I might have to go to this.
Guy I used to work with said he'd buy tix if I drive.
If he's serious that would be stupid to pass up on.
Saw Joe open for Dream Theater back in the day. He was great.
Brian Beller is a hot shit bassist too. Also is in The Aristocrats.
Aristocrats show I was at may have been the best display of musical talent that I've ever seen.
I'm saying that with 6 Rush shows and 19 Dream Theater shows notched into my belt.

Raaawwwrrr!!!

Anytime I'm presented with a "who's the best guitarist" argument, I always go with Satriani. Vic Wooten for best bassist. I used to say Neal Peart for drums, but now I don't know (RIP). On an unrelated note, I'm going to see Roger Waters this summer. First time I was ever introduced to Satriani was that cheesy 90's rollerblading movie Airborne, which also has a solo Waters tune in that movie. Anyways, go.

If you wanna see a hot shit drummer you should check out The Aristocrats.
Marco Minnemann on drums, Bryan Beller on bass, Guthrie Govan on guitar.
When it's time for Marco's drum solo, Bryan and Guthrie don't leave the stage like most bands.
They grab their drinks and sit down to watch Marco.

Friend I worked with was pretty adamant about seeing this show.
Said tix were on him if I drive and took care of getting tix up to certain $ point.
Thing is, this guy is a younger guy that hasn't been blessed with the amazing live shows I've seen in quality or quantity.
The Peoria show is a bit closer to us but why should a stand up family man see a legendary show at the fucking Peoria Civic Canter?

I got tix for Chicago Theatre show instead.

Raaawwwrrr!!!

Soy Bois, wanna hear some real guitar playing skip to 5:15 where even his own band is dancing to his solo
