1. Not going for 2 after 2nd touchdown.
2. Not going for TD from 1 yard line.
3. Not calling timeout after sack at end of half.
4. Running play on 3rd and 14 but bailed out by Gould.
5. Playing prevent after the Cutler pick.
6. Playing for 50 yard FG and bailed out by Gould again.

With all that said, maybe it was the right decisions as on the one aggressive play on the 3rd and 1, Cutler threw the pick.

half the offensive line is backups or players playing out of position.
Cutler was playing hurt.

Forte and Cutler turnovers don't happen and 1 instead of going for 2 won't matter.

the defense giving up hella yards after the int was the biggest issue I saw. still a young team. they'll get better.

I agree. Also, I thought that he should have called a time-out late in the 4th quarter after Oakland got a penalty and had 2nd and long. and back in their territory. That would have saved about 30 seconds of time on the clock which would have benefited them on the FG drive. I thought Lovie played it way too safe and tried not to lose instead of trying to win.Looks like Fox does the same kind of thing

It is easy to like what he did yesterday because it resulted in a W. However, should Gould have missed from 51 it would have been a different story. Why didn't they run JR up the middle for a few more yards for an easier FG? This was Lovie all over again -- had Gould made the kick on the now infamous "Lovie FG Call" it would have resulted in praise like today for Fox. That is the life of an NFL coach. If it works your a genius if it fails you're a moron.

It's different with that little time left. He left enough time to recover from a bad snap and try again.

how would he do that? He had no more time outs. clock would have run out. It was stupid to kick with six seconds on the clock. Run it down, kick the three and call it a win. No need for a kickoff. Unless the league needed some new Madden lateral plays to add to the game.

The fact that the O Line had a bunch of guys playing out of position and WR named Mariani and Meredith were running routes most likely had more to do with it.
