Kevin Durant was the other NBA player in the game and he dropped 41 points (one night after dropping 66).

Goes to show you that even the last guys off an NBA bench can straight up ball.

Of course they can ball, that's why they're in the NBA and not in the CBA somewhere. But even those guys can ball (obviously not to the level of DLeaguers even, but still). What game was this?

LucasIII > Pargo

For the guy who is insurance to our insurance guy. JLIII is fine by me.

Is he really? I mean...Pargo's managed to be in the league longer somehow (I think JL3 is younger, but still). At the very least I know that Pargo can make his free throws since all he ever does is shoot jump shots. Seriously...I don't think I've ever seen him attempt a layup.

Lucas is not a better player than Pargo...Pargo has put up legit scoring performances in the NBA. JL3's claim to fame was missing those free throws in Denver. But Pargo is the better player in my opinion.

I don't want to make this into a Pargo vs JLIII debate, because that would be a terrible loss of self control. But I never thought I would ever see someone defend Pargo, after all of the games that he, by himself, gave up the lead, and was the cause of so many losses.

Yeah I mean...who cares? Pargo or JLIII is a loss either way. xD I guess I'd take Pargo because he's at least got the potential to turn into Ben Gordon or something on a night. Idk what JL3 could do against NBA competition (though clearly he dominates international competition).

lol@some people who think they can get into the NBA and think guys like John Lucas arent good players(not anyone particular on this thread)

take this into account

usually the best 5 or so players in each(or most) state make it onto good teams

a couple of players from these good teams make it to the NBA(of course there are usually a couple of breakthrough guys)-thats just making the nba roster

so...ya..you have to be unbelievably good to even sniff the nba
