Why does he do this to me?

He has a few good games, and makes strides to make me believe he can be a solid WR. Then he shows up and plays flat, again. I had thoughts that Knox could be the best WR on the team...but not anymore.

Knox is like Hester, at best a slot receiver. Knox never fights for the ball and rarely tries to knock a pass down if its about to be interecepted. He also seemingly runs wrong routes all the time.

When you have fast WRs, you run them, wear out the opponents secondary, then light it up with your big reciveres. Instead, Martz has them running routes that only a handful of receivers in the league understand.

Knox isn't an #3 or just a slot WR, idk why people keep throwing that garbage talk out there. He is ultimately a solid #2 flanker option and big play guy.

He is a very raw player but the 3rd year of a WR is the time you see large improvements to where they finally understand things in the NFL. He has an offseason if Martz stays too not learn a new scheme but learn how to play in it and become a player who doesn't do the wrong thing too often.

He's young and inconsistent but he can get much better, especially if they put a true No. 1 on the field with him.

At 24, that's not likely. Unless the Bears can go go gadget:

Knox coupled with an actual number 1 Receiver with Size, speed, and strength then we have a damn strong 1,2 punch.

You guys make a a very valid point. But one thing is for certain, he has to learn how to fight off press coverages. But your right when he can benefit from a number one wideout. You guys think Ochocinco would be that guy? Hes a fast, quick twitch runner. I believe he could help. Your opinions....

Ocho Cinco is an Ocho no-no

He isn't a number 1 receiver anymore, he would make our team worse.

I look at it like this:The Bears have the pieces to have a good WR Core. They are just missing the one key ingrediant, and that's a #1 WR
