well you are trolling and you need to get a bit more creative and do things that are different from what im doing.

but anyway, in your we todd did post you are actually right.

AAA has conor jackson on the DL and only 3 outfielders. they are running thin of outfielders on the farm

I hope he succeeds even though I know its doubtful. At least he's a gold glove type which is a blessing for late inning replacements at least.

Maybe pay attention to the team.

Where the **** are the Sox supposed to get a fourth outfielder if Fukudome is on the DL?

And hitting .302 in AAA with some homers is good enough for me. He's got great defense.

4th outfielder means he's going to be sitting on the bench, being a pinch hitter or late inning defensive replacement and only starting when they want to give Rios, Viciedo or De Aza a day off.

Plus, this call-up starts the clock on his arbitration service time.

Which is exactly why I don't get why people are like omg he doesn't deserve it.

He has a good average and can hit the ball and play defense. That's all you really need out of a 4th outfielder.

Because you don't call up one of your top prospects to be a backup. You make Lillibridge the 4th outfielder and bring up Dallas McPherson to take Fukudome's spot.

Plus, Charlotte is hurting for outfielders too. Conor Jackson just went on the DL. With that and this call-up, they only have two healthy outfielders.

It's obvious they didn't think that Lillibridge could cut it. And now they can give rios and Konerko or Tank and Konerko or De Aza and Konerko a break at the same time because they can have Lillibridge at first and Danks in the outfield.

It gives the Sox a lot more options.
