Chicago sports has always been all about the Bulls pretty much. I am glad to see the support for the Blackhawks. A championship would be GREAT for Chicago athletics.

I don't have a problem with it. Wasn't the statue adorned with a White Sox Jersey when they went to the World Series and a Bears Jersey when they went to the Super Bowl? And they don't even play at the United Center.

It's just showing support for a local franchise. What's wrong with that?

It would be extreme if I said I was going to go to W.Madison Ave and protest about it...

The whole thing is silly, really. Now I'm a Cubs fan... I'll admit that I don't follow the Blackhawks. But if it was a Cubs' or Bears' jersey/helmet, it would still be silly to me. When people look at the Jordan statue draped in other team's gear, I don't think there would be a feeling of pride involved as much as it would be something that's laughed at.
