BOBCAT owner Michael Jordans opinion on the CP3 to LA trade dismantlement seems to be in favor with Stern... MJ upbeat about new CBA, opposed Paul deal to Lakers - chicagotribune.com

While Jordan is a small market team owner, he feels small market teams should have better chances of kepping there star player.
If CP3 does become a free agent without signing an extension with a team he may be traded to, Jordan expressed how he would be in the running to try and sign him.
I don't see why CP3 would want to go to a bad Bobcats team, but they have to try..it would be an interesting scenerio, but very unlikely it ever happens.

Sources -- Los Angeles, New Orleans Hornets agree on Chris Paul trade - ESPN Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a deal in principle with the league-owned New Orleans Hornets to acquire guard Chris Paul, according to sources close to the process.

The Clippers, sources said, will send guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first-round pick to the Hornets for Paul.

The Clippers will also receive two future second-round picks, according to sources.

The deal is expected to be approved by the league Wednesday night, sources said.

Whoa. Now I wonder if Paul will be more than a rental.

The Lakers should of worked things out with Lamar Odom...bet they feel dumb.

I agree.

They didn't get CP3, looks like they won't got howard and they traded Odom for pretty much nothing.

The lakers really screwed up.. at least for this season.

looks like they'll have enough cap room next offeseason to get Deron Williams if he doesn't resign with the Nets

I've heard he'll opt in for his extra year as part of the deal, so they've got two years to convince him to stay, and you gotta imagine they'll do it
