I doubt if he'd fetch much. He's just a guy.

And don't play the "one crazy GM" card if you think he'd net anything but a meh player in return. Any owner/higher up worth their salt would put the kibosh on that trade and then fire the GM.

not true.

a lot of teams would consider him since 1) he has pitched well 2) he is a lefty 3) probably could service a lot of teams in the back end of a rotation and or BP arm.

he doesnt have value that will net you anything, but if there is a team looking to move a FA to be starter he would be a piece to a deal IMO.

id much rather keep him around though

Right now Quintana is a good left handed pitcher. One that would be really good as the #4. The Sox have rotation problems, so why would they trade away a guy that's going to help their rotation?
