I actually have no issue with a serious investment in the offense if Watson is the pick. That way by the time Watson plays in 2018 Jones and Leggett will no longer be rookies and have a little more polish.

Are you of the opinion no QB they may draft will play under any circumstance this year? I'm not sure I'd disagree.

I'm focused on two players at 3, Watson or Thomas. I really like the idea of Zay Jones and obviously the Bears had a close look at him at the Senior Bowl. Leggett would be an excellent TE to pair with Watson and would fit nicely with Sims in two TE sets once Miller is injured.

What do you guys think about Juju Smith-Schuster as a round 2 Alshon replacement in Josh2J's scenario? Really similar physically and skill wise, and very similar college career.

I don't see Zay Jones as an early 2nd round pick though, do you?

Edit: Jaleel Johnson is a monster btw, I would gladly take him or Desmond King to be on the Bears.

I've seen both Jones and Juju as early as round two but also in round 3 in some mocks. Either one would be a nice addition to the WR corp. In another thread a poster comped him to Boldin, I can see that too.

I think my top fav's for # 3 are Watson, Thomas, or Adams.... really be hard to argue any of those guys at that spot. All should help this football team long term.

I think if a scenario plays out similar to my mock they will draft offensive heavy. They want to (have to) start winning now, as they should, being in year 3 of a rebuild.

So whether the QB week 1 is Glennon or Watson.... they sorely need playmakers on offense.

I think this might be the year the Bears finally cave again and make a high investment at the most important position in football. He will be drafted with the hope he is ready to compete and overtake Glennon for the starting job in 2018

I'd be cool with that....The Bears need a backup plan if White just doesn't pan out this year, and even if he does pan out certainly wouldn't hurt to have another #1 or #2 outside WR.
