This should probably be in some kind of OT area, but I'm a noob, so I'm putting it here. If it's supposed to be somewhere else, kindly move it there, no fusses please.

Anyway I thought it'd be fun to do something that we did once on the bullspodcasters.com forum: player profiles! Here's how it works...

You give your height, weight, position, NBA comparison, and a short description of your game. I'll give an example.

Frankie Breakfast Sandwich (this is off the top of my head, but should be pretty close to what he had a while back)
Height: 6-4
Weight 200
Pos: PF
NBA comparison: Jonathan Bender
Tall skinny guy who likes to shoot 3's. Once broke a rim dunking in China. He had more that I don't remember.

You get the idea.

So without further ado, let the hilarity ensue.

clonetrooper264
Height: 5-6 (yes I'm that short)
Weight: ~140
Pos: PG/SG
NBA comparison: Kirk Hinrich/Jerryd Bayless/Nate Robinson without the freak athleticism
Pretty much, I'm a SG in a PG's body, but I have very much a scorer's mentality. Not to say I can't pass, but I do tend to shoot more than pass. However I'm not totally selfish. I can get really hot from 3 but can have horrid cold streaks too (think JR Smith). I do have a tendency to get fouled a lot, so if I actually played in a game where I got to shoot FT's, I'd be very much like Jerryd Bayless in that I get to the free throw line a lot relative to shots taken. Defensively, I am like Hinrich in that I am better at guarding taller, slower guys as opposed to guys my own height who destroy me athletically...though saying you're taller than me isn't saying much. However, I'm not nearly as solid a defender as Kirk. On one of my bad offensive nights, you could say I emulate Kirk quite well. xD

Do note that this is just for fun. No mocking please.

Oversized SG that likes his 3 ball. But will put the ball on the floor and take you to the cup.

Height: 5'7

Pos: PG
NBA Comparison: Rajon Rondo

I'm on the short side, but I can hold my own against several PG's. Speed gets by me from time to time, but I force players to the sidelines. I'm a pass-first guard, with a knack for the highlight reel. My favorite pass is between a PF/C's legs to a streaking SF for the easy hoop. Like Rondo, if you put 3 future hall-of-famers in the starting line-up with me, I'm going to avg 10+ assists/game. I'll take an open jumper from time-to-time just to keep the defense honest. I'm probably a 33% shooter from 3-point land..not great, but enough to keep the defender close. I shoot about 80% from the FT line, and will drive into a big man if the opportunity presents itself just to draw a foul on him.

On most teams, I'm probably a back-up...and I'm okay with that. But don't take me out of a game I'm playing well in. I'll be pissed and ask to be traded.

Player comparison: Oliver Miller, Stanley Roberts

Had a little skill, but ate myself out of the rotation. Occasionally gets up off the bench to stretch, get water, and hit somebody I don't like on the back of the head during a brawl. Famous for sneaking and using a George Foreman grill court side and cooking burgers during the game.

Description: I have always played ball & used to just be a strictly a SG. As I got older & people flew by me in height (lol), I took over more of the ball handler/3pt/occasional drive type of PG. So I consider myself a hybrid of Nate & A.I. but, of course no where near as good as them (duh). I have a pure shot & definitely enjoy dishing out assists still. Nothing like a good pick-up game that's a fact. Damn, I love the game of basketball! :D

I have great hangtime, and I love to dunk on people. The head game and defense is my favorite aspect of basketball. I shoot best when I'm off balance.

Skinny

Skinny (my real nickname)
Age: 22
Height: 6-1
Weight: ~134
Pos: SG/PG
NBA comparison: Kirk Hinrich / Derrick Rose

Skinny is my nickname and that has a reason lol.

Playing in a club for 10 years.

Basicly I´m a Kirk double who adds more and more Derrick to his game.

Became a really good shooter when I had an ankle injury but still went to the gym twice a week for only shooting. I think I´m shooting about 40% from the European three point line (which is your college line I think).

So shooting is my main offense but I worked on my ballhandling all summer long and also learned the floater. Love the way Derrick is playing and try to add some parts of his game to mine.

Need about 4 inches to dunk. My problem is that I can´t hold a ball with one hand.

On the other side of the court I´m a great wing defender but a very poor zone defender because of my little weigth.

My attitude is "Hard work beats talent, when talent fails to work hard!"

I will show you how much I love basketball and especially the Bulls in an other thread, soon.

Description: Im worthless on the court and i shouldnt even be in the league but yet i still out trash talk the rest of the bunch and act hard. You can find me standing around the perimeter waiting for open shots because no one respects me or my game and i cant create for myself. People mostly know me as Mike Bibbys brother in law.

Description: I used to be more of a defensive type of player a couple years back, but now I have a good shooting stroke and have stuck by that. My strengths are a good IQ, speed, catch and shooting, solid passing ability, and stealing. My weaknesses are perimeter defense, ball handling, getting in love with my shot.

positions: i have the ball handling skills of luol deng, the body type/size of nate rob, and the athleticism of brad miller.

nba comparrison : corey maggette. i draw contact and score mostly around the basket with layups. I have decent court vision, but my dribbling abilities are severely limited. i can hit free throws, but i like scoring under and around the basket much more. if was a foot and half taller i could have been a pf.

nba comparison: the ball handling and passing of joakim noah, the scoring of jason kapono, the defense of luol deng, the rebounding of jason kidd

i have enough ball handling to run the break but it's not something i would prefer to use in traffic. i love to pass, i'd rather make a fantastic assist than score. my offense is pretty much based on spot up shooting, but i'm good at it. my defense is solid, but i'm hurt by my lack of quickness at times. i have a real knack for getting the ball off the boards.

so i'm some sort of weird hybrid something lol
