We have no chance at the playoffs.

The more we lose, the higher the draft pick we get.

If you aren't first, it's best to be last IMO.

Lou won't be fire now because the season is over and it is his fault. The good thing is, high draft pick and now we will see vets get traded and the youngsters up.

You never have told me how every single one of the Cubs "good players" underachieving all in one season is Lou's fault.

Not saying he's not at fault, but the fact that you have so much faith in the players that you continually put 90% of this on Lou is hilarious.

I'm not saying it is all his fault to a bad season, 60% Lou's fault, 40$ player's fault. I hate when managers just don't care anymore, don't want to win and pays vets over younger players even if there playing better.

60% Lou's fault? It's his fault that Lee is batting below .240, Soriano below .280, and Ramirez below .170? It's Lou's fault our boys can't field like major leaguers? Are you serious? Dude, our team is not good. We can put no more than 25% of the blame on Lou, and that's pushing it. What the **** is ANYBODY suppose to do when your 4 best players collective shit themselves? What on God's green earth do you think another manager would do to "fix" our problems? You think playing Colvin and his .285 avg and highest K/AB Ratio on the team is going to "fix" us?

Dear God...

I don't care what you say and I'm sticking to my percentages. Soriano .280 is good for him. Ramirez is favoring his shouls. Now to Lou, he does not know how to use his pitchers, the lineup is a mess day out and in. Want me to keep going?

Yeah, I do. Especially considering how the pitchers have been the bright spot of this team...Lily, Dempster, Silva...Marshall...Marmol....lol

Of course the line-up is a mess. The guys that should be producing aren't. You can mask one of 'em with their head up their ass, maybe even 2...but not 3 or 4.

I betcha if the Cubs had a new Manager, they will win more games (which is not hard).

Easy to make a bet when you know the scenario will never play out.

It's not that, the lineup is so consistent even after a win, it is completely different. The pitchers have been bright spots but Lou uses pitchers in the bullpen at the wrong time. He ises the rigthy to right and lefty to lefty even when the pitcher before that is pitching good which I don't like and if a pitcher pitches today, Lou does not want to go to him tomorrow.

Also we have not seen Colvin in the starting lineup for a week straight so that is still to be determine if he can produce.

It's not that, if the Cubs fore Lou now and get a new manager, I will still say that and keep it to my word. But as I know and all Cubs fans know, he will last out the season ansd retire at the end of the season.

You're either a younger kid, or an idiot.

You named two things, and than say "want me to keep going?"

Yes, I do. You can never blame anything more than 15% of the teams problems on the manager in almost any situation.

Players either produce or don't. When a majority don't produce, you get an unsuccessful team. If you remove Lou from the equation, I doubt the team would improve much over the course of the rest of the season. The players have to produce. As of now, they're just a bunch of sorry ball players. I wouldn't even use the term "major leaguers" as we stand.

I think the best thing that could happen right now is something like an on field brawl. It would either get the players pumped up, or injured, so we can bring is some players from Iowa who will try and win us some ball games.

The players are not producing becuae the manager does not care and they don't care. Also the Cubs got the worse GM and manager. The manager hesitants to player youngsters or screws them up and Hendry does not want to rebuld, it to faithful to vets and probably does not know how to rebuild.

waldo, sorry to say, but you are such a dumbass.

Oh, ad BTW, consistent means about the same all the time, you said "the lineup is so consistent, it is different even after a win", that would be inconsistent.

I forgot the in and I back up everything I say and I believe it. I would say it in front of everyone because Pinella lost this season along with the player but Pinella looks like bum, lazy guys who does not care if the Cubs win or not.

You can't say it is Piniella's fault more than the players. You guys always blame Piniella and Hendry, when really, the players should just fucking perform. You are caught in a fantasy land of thinking we have a good team, we just need a different manager. It is mere stupidity.

If you look at the roster on opeing day, the Cubs do have a good lineup but they are not listening to Pinella no more. The Cubs need a new voice in the locker room and maybe that will help. That's why so many managers get fire because the team is underproducing and to get a new voice. I also have seen teams get an interm manger calling the shots and they start to winning. That is what I would hope if the Cubs did that but very unlikely.
