QBR is a very limited metric in what it can tell you about a QB's cumulative performance. For example, Peyton Manning's 6 TD performance the first week only resulted in like the 8th best QBR.

Imo, passing rating is still the much better metric for looking at a QBs performance as a whole. It matches up much better with your eyeballs. QBR is almost more like a "clutch" metric.
Manning is handily the #1 QB in QBR this season. So it looks like the averages are balancing out. Also if passer rating is the benchmark, Darren McFadden, and Tavaris Jackson are the best QBs in the league.

That point is lost on Botfly. In his world, the fact Manning has only been the top rated QB for 1 week is a travesty even though for two of those weeks Passer rating also had another QB ahead of Manning.
