I know that this is a really popular theory, and I've seen plenty of Bulls fans recently suggest that the NBA wanted Miami in the finals, so the Bulls never had a chance from the refs.Let me tell you what...

Nah, the games weren't fixed...they were just called in a way that allowed the Heat to stay in games that they had no reason being in. For example, in game 5, the Bulls had a double-digit lead. After a boneheaded flagrant foul committed by Boozer (though I aplaud him for being physical with the superstar James), there was a string of seemingly questionable calls. Deng got called for running though Chalmers under the hoop the first play after the flagrant (I think that was either his 4th or 5th foul), when Chalmers jumped in front of him and did a flop job. Taj Gibson got called for a tech for showing emotion (though not directed toward the refs)...Wade exploded on the refs after a no call on a break away layup, no tech called. James should have won an Oscar for the foul he drew on Rose off of that one rebound in the second half. That 4 point play Wade drew was a no call by playoff standards...and I can go on and on with the bad calls that kept Miami close...this being said, the Bulls should have been able to hold on to game 5 even despite the calls going Miami's way...guess this just wasn't their year.
