The Bears finally have a talent at QB and are going to **** this up.

The organization has failed him with a bunch of bottom bitches. The Bears are on track to ruin Fields career and cost him a loss of hundreds of millions due to negligence. Not only should Fields demand a trade, but he should sue the Bears.

Mooney continues to show us hes a 3/4. EQ may be the only other 4/5/6th on the team. I'd like to say VJJ has some talent, but its apparent, hes too stupid to catch. I get why he only has two plays on offense. Hes not even smart enough to decode the zone/man on a go yet. If ppl thought Hester struggled mentally at WR, VJJs special is on another level without the Hester Juice.

People are like throw the fucking ball Justin. Yeah, ppl, he doesnt trust that his WRs will catch the ball or be in the right spot.

Poles great line is going to get Fields seriously injured. If Fields wasnt made in the USA and had an early 80s russian build, he'd be on the side lines already. Not only is Fields beat up now, ghosts are being created, which will haunt him throughout his career. I am truly concerned for his safety.

Lmao ?
He shows flashes of a good QB. He has the athleticism of a great QB. Unfortunately his stats are that of a WR tossing a ball during a trick play. Except I’d argue some WRs tossing a ball on a trick play may have better stats.

He is a fantastic prospect, but I dont buy into the argument that the bears are going to ruin him. That happens if he has a career altering injury, not if he has to spend a season learnign how to get production out of lesser talent.

Gordon is a good athletic prospect and I am happy that he as a chance to be a good pro for the Bears. But It is clear that they needed someone who can make a difference in the passing game, either as a blocker or receiver. This needs to be fixed in the next offseason when the team is flush with cash to spend and a nearly full set of draft picks.

lol fields is a fuckn mess, no doubt he has talent but a long way to go...
he shows zero anticipation on throws, whether thats because he doesnt trust his guys or he's still stuck in college level where its easy to play see it throw it...if its because he doesnt trust his guys thats a big problem because by now you should have that trust level on them being where they need to be. he is still a see it throw it qb and until that changes he'll never be a franchise qb.

Yes the oline is wildly inconsistent and it is what it is, i still dont understand why mustipher is at C instead of patrick but obviously the coaches must see even shittier play from the reserves so it is what it is. the only thing i expect poles to do is sell off assets before the deadline to stockpile some more picks.

But he is One in a long line of franchise QB's the Bears have drafted according to some morons on this site. Im willing to let him play out the year. This is it for this team this year, nobody is being added via trades. At the end of the season find out what we got and draft and sign accordingly.

What's to trust? You throw it where you're supposed to and if the WR does something stupid, give him shit.

The anxiety-relieving breathing exercises on the sidelines says it all. At this point he doesn't have the head for the nfl. Maybe it improves
Breathing exercises are a well known technique for focus and mental acuity. He didn't play great, but pointing to someone focusing on their breathing as being indicative of a lack of mental stability or capability for handling stressful situations is downright silly and, if I may use the turn of phrase, meatballish.

tell that to fields...you know most qb's have some sort of preference(trust) to certain WR's, whether its because of size/reliability/route running/catch radius etc...

So he doesn't like/trust Mooney? He runs bad routes?

Can't wait to see what defender the Bears pick in the top ten in the draft next year.

I agree with part of Poles offseason strategy and I hate the other part.

The part I agree with, cleaning up the books. We had a lot of bad contracts that needed addressing and he did that. We'll have plenty of cap space next year to play with.

The part I absolutely hate is his draft strategy and free agency strategy. Clearly he prioritized bolstering the defense which I vehemently disagree with. Fields needed help. He's got weak OL in front of him that can't hold up in the middle, a bunch of castoffs as a WR core. The offense around Fields is so bad it is stunting his development.

This offseason needs to be heavy on the offense. Free agency, trade market, draft, all need to work towards improving the offense. Even if Fields isn't the guy, we'll theoretically have a good cast around the next QB.

where are you going with this? my initial post was about fields possibly not trusting his WRs, your response was why there needs to be trust at all and i responded that most qbs have favorites they like...
i'm sure mooney is a favorite but guys like pettis, esb dont seem to be a favorite since he really doesnt throw their way unless they are clearly wide open or its just a free play.

I dont understand the "he doesn't trust his receivers " argument. That isn't an excuse to not throw the ball and take sacks.
When he does pull the trigger, the bums don’t ever come down with contested tough catches.

Really good combo.
