That's a lot of money to watch Darnold and McCarthy throw to opposing DB's. Hope he is working on his tackling skills.

Glad he got paid before those guys get him hurt.

JJ is a great player, playing with those bums last year after kurt got hurt was sad to watch. So many balls over the middle leaving him exposed to injury.

Vikings never seem to have issues drafting receivers. I believe they only missed on Williamson back in 2005.

Guess when you don't have a qb to pay you have some money to burn. They could probably do this another few times.

Meh, he already lost $40M from the thread title to the text.
Doubt he sees any of that money.

Eh. He’s been on 7 all-pro teams and is a SB champion even if it wasn’t for his WR skills. He’s definitely not a bust.

If Jefferson keeps it up, that’s 2 HOF WR’s since 98 along with Carter(HOF), Addison(promising) & Thielen(UDFA). Anthony Carter was a damn good receiver too.

Instead the Bears draft bums like Terrell, White, Bradley and a ridiculous number of mid-round bums like Velus, Scott and others.

wow you went really far back...you seemed to forget about treadwell or patterson as being more recent...even harvin could be considered a bust as well along with rice...harvin could have been a stud but too many head issues migraines and whatever else...rice was a one year wonder with favre and that was it for him.

Rice wasn’t a bust. He had a 1200yd season and then left in free agency. Harvin netted them a first round pick back (+7th & 3rd round picks) and won APROY.

Hes carved himself out a nice role in the nfl. But he was drafted as a 1st round wr and is now a back up rb and all time great KR. He didn't make it to a 2nd contract on his team that drafted him as a 1st round pick. To me I personally see him as a bust for Minnesota who other teams figured out how to use appropriately

He's a bust for where he was drafted, lol.

He also didnt do much for the vikings. People on her consider leonard floyd a bust, if he's a bust then so is patterson.

If the bears wait till 2025 offseason in order to sign DJ Moore he may make 30m/yr. Crazy AF. Pretty sure keenan allen is a 1 year rental at this point.

2 first team all-pro nods in Minnesota.

Not necessarily but probably. They don’t have a QB to pay and don’t have an elite pass rusher (Sweat is very good but not an elite level player who is going to reset the market)

Several elite DE’s in next year’s draft. Might have to trade up to get one. DE Free Agents are looking pretty slim considering the couple of good ones will be tagged/re-signed. The other leftovers are aging vets. James Pearce would be the perfect draft pick for this defense @knoxville7

we can agree to disagree, being a one yr wonder in the NFL is not bust status? Harvin netting them a 1st rd pick was simply seattle overpaying...they needed a dynamic returner and he did just that and was then traded after 1.5 seasons.

guys that i remember as one yr wonders...
lamont jordan - raiders paid big bucks for him
rex grossman
rob johnson - was traded for 1st at minimum
tommy maddox

so these guys arent busts either right?
