you, the fans, deserve better analysis than this stuff.
This writer seriously implies that the only option is to maybe acquire a 2nd line center to enable Toews to play with Kane again ... oh really? Is that all you got? I mean seriously, with Kane proving that he can play center, why exactly is it that you might not consider say - another top line winger?
Yes, I know that others, including HW have written the same here- which actually is the point. How is it that guys that basically regurgitate old messageboard posts get paid to write about hockey, without actually considering the immediate facts of a situation???
Note to Mr Haugh, or any other paid journo that comes by here .... Kane performing at center = team flexibility, not team inflexibility requiring a return to lines of a year or 2 ago, maybe try to look to the future the next time you put out a story -it makes it that much more relevant for the readers.

As dangerous as Kane has become alongside Hossa, eventually coach Joel Quenneville must consider the effects of Kane's absence from the top line on Jonathan Toews — off to an ordinary start by his standards. Eventually, pressure could mount for Bowman to acquire a second-line center so the Hawks can reunite Kane, Toews and Patrick Sharp on a No. 1 line every team fears. Eventually, Kane carrying a chip on his shoulder might not exhaust him but chasing the puck on both ends as the schedule toughens could.
