Does anyone know what the karma feature on here means?

Apparently, I have a karma rating of -6.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing or do I have reason to be concerned?

when someone likes what you post they press the green thumb logo when they dont they give you the red one. -6 is bad but who really cares about all of that poo.

It means 6 people didn't like what you said at some point. Or they disagreed. Don't worry about it. Eventually it'll all even out to 0 for most people (except for Doug...)

Dang! I didn't realize there was a time limit on the karma. You can only do one every 6 hrs. I'll bump ya at some point Frank. And might I add you have one of the best handles on this site.

Thanks for letting me know. The only reason I'm on here is for popularity reasons and it appears I still have a lot of work to do!

Is my karma so bad because i was backin' my boy Larry Hughes recently?

Can someone please tell me why everyone is so down on Larry?

1. He's a spark plug off the bench
2. He generates nothing but excitement and energy
3. He strokes the long shot
4. He's great off the bench
5. He's a veteran presence in the locker room
6. He's great in the community
7. He's an all-around good player

Why do so many Chicagoians hate this guy?

If you ask me, I think New York got a steal when they stole Larry from Chi Town.

Oh boy. Things like this is like begging for negative karma

People here hate Larry because here he was pretty much a ball hog. It's kind of like he does the things that people say Ben Gordon does (ie shoot too much, hogs the ball). He doesn't seem like the best locker room presence either.

Karma doesn't mean anything or have any real purpose. I think it causes more trouble than it's worth, but I've been too lazy to remove it.
