That is what I am talking about, bring some defense to the backcourt. I am glad Forman agrees with me...

great article. Here is some more from KC: This just in by K.C Johnson:

"Louisville power forward Earl Clark, listed on some mock drafts as a Bulls' target, skipped Sunday's draft workout at the Berto Center. The 6-foot-10-inch Clark cited injury as why he withdrew, although it's also possible he doesn't think he'll be on the board when the Bulls use the first of their two scheduled first-round picks at No. 16.

There already are questions about the work ethic of Clark, who averaged 14.2 points and 8.7 rebounds for Louisville last season. Few question Clark's athleticism."

In a draft where big guys are getting pushed lower and lower in the draft by point guards here's Earl Clark's feeling he won't get to the Bulls. He could be right or he could be setting himself up for a big fat free fall. Now, the big question. If available should Earl Clark still be considered at #16?

If I were the Bulls GM Newskool and had any suspicion that Earl Clark wasn't really injured and just blowing us off because he doesn't think he'll go that low, then there would be no way that I draft him. Even at #16, he could be worse then Tyrus, I'm thinking Darius Miles with an attitude like that. But if he falls to 26 I wouldn't care if we drafted him or not, he would be a solid pick that low.

If we keep the 16th pick I am leaning more and more towards Hansborough. I think we have enough potential players right now and I doubt anyone will be special in this draft at 16. If he can step in and help out rebounding and hustling off the bench that would be key. He seems like he would be tough at least, he has some solid athletecism and he is a 4 year player so he will be smart, a quality that the Bulls roster is very lacking in. Although he might fall to 26 too, in that case the Bulls should definately take him.

I doubt Bulls even ask for another date to work out. This kid looks like a punk already. I like what you think about Tyler but he wont fall all the way to 26.

If the Bulls trade up, which I'm pretty sure they will, I have a really good feeling it's for Henderson. I mean I hate Dukies, as I've stated on here before, but I think his game translates well to what we are trying to do here. Think of like Pietrus' D meshed with a poor man's J-Rich's O w/o the 3pt shot. His D will help right away. He's quick, a superior athlete, can create of the dribble, & scores well in transition which would look nice running next to Rose. And that's what this is all about right?
