Last year, I bought a flowering plant for $.50 in front of our grocery store around this time of year and planted it. I looks great this year, even planted late in the season. Yesterday my wife found evergreen shrubs (like pictured below) for only $1.75 each and bought two. They were at a store similar to a Walmart called Meijer. They are only a foot and a half tall but look really healthy, so keep an eye out for some great deals.

My favorite teams
  1. Colorado Rockies
  1. Atlanta United FC
  1. Los Angeles Lakers
  2. Orlando Magic
  3. Phoenix Suns
  4. Sacramento Kings
  1. Columbus Blue Jackets
I had a neighbor that planted some trees the size of a twig. 5 years later they were the size of a small branch. I would drive past his house and yell out my car window and laugh: "They are like the king of the Forrest"

Be careful what you plant. May hate it ten years later.

I always liked my landscape when I lived in Tuscon. Rocks, gravel a few cacti. A small patch of lawn on the back patio. Yardwork done in 15 minutes.

The best time to plant an Oak tree is thirty years ago... The second best time is today.
