" donnie nelson in mark cuban, tx:
its obvious we desperately need a 2 guard, and with chicago and orl needing cap to bring back bg, turk, gortat, can I flip stacks instant exp for salmons or pietrius?
Bill Ingram:

Interesting idea . . .Pietrus is highly valued in Orlando, but Hedo's been quite good in the playoffs. Maybe they'd part with Mickael to keep Hedo. The Bulls have another deal in the works to help them keep BG, though we've been given that info in confidence and can't share it at this time."

Any ideas on what this deal might be? Draft night deal? If so that tells me Hinrich for a draft pick to save money for Gordon might be in the cards. Not sure what else it could be.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't Hinrich. Hinrich to Dallas for Stackhouse, waive stackhouse would be a possibility. If Dallas doesn't bring back Kidd, then that'd be a nice trade. Even if they do it might work for them.

I read it as him saying Bulls had "another" deal--as in outside of the proposed Dallas one with Stack. I am not buying Hinrich for the #6 pick. I can't imagine Minnesota doing that. But I do wonder if Hinrich for Craig Smith or Ryan Gomes and the #18 could be done? It saves money for Gordon, adds a scoring forward plus another draft pick to entice someone to give up Amare or Bosh.

Im crossing my fingers that Deng gets shipped, not Hinrich. I know its a long shot, but being able to get his horrendous deal off the books would be awesome. Then you give 35 mins a night to Salmons at the 3, 35 mins per night to BG at the 2, 35 mins per night to Rose at the 1, and let Kirk and the draft pick (or a signed Matt Barnes) come in and fill the holes.

I haven't heard a Kirk to Dallas rumor, I just think it makes some sense for Dallas.

I could see Minnesota be willing to relinquish the 18th pick, and Craig Smith/Ryan Gomes/or Mike Miller for Hinrich, my dream getting the 6th pick, but McHale is no loner the GM, so that won't happen, with the 6th pick Demar Derozan, or better yet taking that with Tyrus and getting a Bosh or Amare(hope my Christmas wish comes true)

Hinrich to Dallas is a possibility, though they could also be working with Portland possibly for Blake, #24 & future pick or cash considerations. Admitted that's a weak take for Hinrich but I'm just conjecturing at this point. I'd much rather see Deng a.k.a. Mr. Glass, wrapped in bubble wrap so he won't break, & shipped off to the nearest franchise via UPS.
