Really? Perennially means once? And 50 HRs? That's insane. He never even sniffed in Great American.

Statistically U.S. Cellular Field is a better "hitters" park than Great American Ball Park. Also factor in Adam Dunn will be seeing better pitches this season, with the improved lineup surrounding him, this season 50 home-runs is very obtainable.

And being the AL, there are more great hitters but less great pitchers he has to face too.

Adam Dunn is a beast. Looks like Ozzie learned his lesson that having flexibility is no good if your DH can't hit.

Nor does it even mean the NL has better pitchers.

The difference between the two leagues is all but gone these days. With free agency players move back and forth more frequently and both leagues are pretty well stocked with quality hitters and pitchers.

I think what it is is when all these hitters were doping and hitting home runs, teams started investing more in pitching, and those pitchers are making it to the show now, so you're seeing an era of dominance on the mound.
