I was standing in the Hawks end during warmups last night. At one point during line rushes Crow made a save and immediately hunched over, favoring his left side. Later, and I'm not sure if they showed this on TV, but Seabrook knocked him over about half way through the first and he stayed down for a good ten seconds while the play was in the other end. So it seemed to me like he tweaked the groin during warmup and it kept getting worse as the night went on.

What's so uh oh about it...it probably points to Crawford not being out for too long.

I thought the game started at 7:00 so I missed the 1st period. They didn't show any replays of the injury so I have now idea how severe or not severe it was.

How does the Hawks calling up Simpson point to Crawford not being out long? I hope that's the case... but obviously Crawford is a little worse than day to day.

On a side note I think it's pretty funny to look at the official hogs roster and knowing how hurting the hawks are for centers seeing everyone listed as a center or lw. 8 Centers, 7 LW, 1 RW... haha.

They had to travel to a game today so someone had to come up no matter how bad CC is hurt. The fact that they also made the move to IR Bickell makes me wonder if they are clearing cap space for another move that just cannot be made in time for this back-to-back.

Tough time of year to trade for quality because most teams see themselves as "in the race" at this point.

Raanta will do fine while Corey is healing, but can Simpson be a good enough back up so the beach ball photo shops don't start popping up.
