Not going to happen, unless the Bears offer buyout of Freman huge contrast. Freeman signed an extension with ND that run thru 2030.
It's largely believed he is the highest paid HC in college.

I also have no clue why freeman would want to leave a top college program where he's getting paid and treated like a king.

If they somehow pull of winning the title this year he can renegotiate again and get whatever he wants. Dude needs to feed his 8 kids.

Per George Ofman, Brady’s pitch is working. Following the Bears interview with Johnson on Saturday, Ofman reported Chicago is not No. 1 on Johnson’s list.


“More on Johnson …Told Tom Brady got involved a few days ago. He has personally recruited Johnson heavily leaving him with plenty to think about,” Ofman posted on X. “That, and the Raiders recently fired their GM. Told, as of now, Bears are not number 1 on his list.”
