Can anyone point out the game/performance that may have influenced Pace’s belief that Vildor could be a #2 CB? Thanks.

Edit: I’ve taken fuller’s name out of this post because this was not meant to be a thread about whether or not the bears should’ve paid Fuller. This is about Kindle Vildor. Any footage /highlights/all 22s would be greatly appreciated.

Fuller was released for cap reasons. Had nothing to do with Pace thinking Vildor could replace him.

If Pace thought thought Fuller irreplaceable, he would have found a way to re sign him regardless of the cap. Thus, It definitely had something to do with Pace thinking that Fuller could be replaced, and given that he didn’t draft a CB to replace Fuller, he must’ve been confident that Vildor, or maybe even Shelley, could be the guy. I want to watch the game(s) where either of these two have shown enough potential to be a #2 CB.

You don't pay Fuller $20 million to play soft coverage. Sorry, get over it.

Are you a Bears fan? Like what are you searching for here? He’s a young player who has started one game and is in his second year. Obviously they’re going off practices a lot because again he’s only started one game. I can’t point to a bunch of games because he hasn’t played a bunch of games.

He was a pretty good tackler, but he only started one game so .. I guess small sample size. He was mainly ST
