The Chicago Bears sent out requests to Kliff Kingsbury and Ben Johnson. One candidate made a decision on the team before Saturday night.

Not so sure. As HC, you make the choices for Coordinators. That hire was on Flus. I think Kingsbury is far more prepared for a HC position after this year.

"I don't think I set the foundation (in AZ) the way I would do it after watching DQ and how he set the foundation (in Washington) from Day One," Kingsbury said. "These are the standards, this is what we want, this is what we're going to be.
"I definitely could have done a better job of that, and kind of once you don't lay it out like that, it's hard to put it back in."

Poles was involved as being able veto and move on. There's a reason they ask HC candidates who they plan to bring on to fill coordinator positions.

He’s not doing *any* interviews while Washington is still in the playoffs, so it’s not like he just spurned the Bears out of revenge.
