If they trade Hill, it would be because he's lost a step. Nope.

shefter says it's Kmet to the Funs period in order to free up money for Watt
Problem is that would be too much money tied up in DE. Dayo/Sweat/Watt would be a crap ton of money. They would have to take someone and I doubt they take Sweat and Dayo’s cap hit is too high to trade.

If they traded these two then it needs to be for a standout passrusher and a draft pick in return.

If anything I would much rather see the Bears take only one of either Kmet or Moore and a mid late pick(s) offered up to Jacksonville for Travon Walker.

Sigler do understand what a two TE set is and why KMET and Loveland are a perfect match not seen since Hernandez and Gronkowski?

We have two TEs for two different starting roles on offense. If we trade one we insert a pure blocking TE in one slot and its not the same.

Enjoy it while it lasts and quit bitching or looking for solutions that actually create the problem.

I would offer DJ Moore and Booker straight up for Travon walker and also try to squeeze a mid late draft pick out of Jacksonville in return if possible.

Or Kmet, Booker, and a 2026 Second for Travon Walker

A passrusher that's even just marginally better than Montez Sweat would help this team so much.

Imo Montez Sweat is a high second tier passrusher and Travon Walker is a lower top tier and complete DE and both would be more than sufficient to spearhead a complete TOP 5 Defensive unit for next 4-5 seasons.

That's a pretty steep order.

If Loveland becomes another Gronk I will find and wear a c0ck hat,or at least photo shop it on top of my own domepiece and use it as my avatar for a month, while gladly admitting that I was wrong about the pick every single day.

I do like Loveland. I watched him play every Saturday at Michigan, I'm routing for him, but I'm still not on board with the pick. I believe that based on what I saw that Loveland is a high second round talent and maybe a low end first round talent on his best day.

There were a number of good TEs throughout this draft that I believe will be every bit as productive as Loveland, either right away or with a year of development

Ben Johnson has said himself that Loveland is the centerpiece of his offense and that he can't run his offense without him. As a centerpiece of this offense I believe it's more than fair to expect Loveland to at least match Rome Odunze's rookie production.

I don't care to hear about too many mouths to feed or too many weapons. As an integral offensive piece and a top 10 pick Loveland needs to needs to be able to outplay a second round pick like Burden, & kmet. He needs to outplay a journeyman like Zaccheaus and he should be expected to at least match the rookie production of the other top 10 pick that is Odunze

I'm trying to like the pick but I just don't. Its like trying to like the band PHISH. My friends constantly tell me that they're among the greatest bands on earth and if you don't like them there's something wrong with you.

So I try to give a listen to them when my friends play their music. I even went to two of their concerts, one at S.P.A.C. Saratoga NY & Sugarbush VT, to give it a good college try to like them and it just isn't happening, so I guess I'm evil.

I hope I'm wrong about Loveland. If I am you won't have to prod the admission out of me. I will gladly plaster it all over the board.
