Dunn did say he wanted to play the field too, he may be a little...awkward (if that's the word) but he is a good hitter and a little less than a solid 1B, I mean as long as he can catch balls thrown his way Im not expecting him to be a Gold Glover

not enough to actually be significant. You do realize that players who cant field their position anymore get moved to 1b right? why? because its the easiest position and is a position of irrelevance. its not like Dunn is replacing a gold glover. Konerko is avg at 1b and fans like yourself think he is better because you listen to hawk harrelsons love fest for his defense.
