Mike McGraw hints at it here:Bulls guard Kyle Korver said Monday he's been bothered by a cyst in his left ankle. He had a cortisone shot, but is hoping surgery will not be necessary. CSN's video update discusses it more...

This is almost crazy how many injuries have happened in such a short period of time. Glad it's this early & not mid-season..

korver is a shooter, so an injury in his foot ought to impact his injury more than injury than an injury to a finger etc.

damn it.

He should just get it drained for now. I have one in both of my wrists(yes they do hurt very bad at times, especially when I weight lift which is where I think I get them from) It'll be a more quicker approach and then he can just keep on getting it drained if necessary until the off season and get it removed then.

he and Boozer been injury prone though so the Bulls should have known what they was getting, those guys are going to miss some games unfortunately

Brewer has had some injuries in the past as well and he started the preseason injured, hopefully everyone gets healthy as soon as possible and STAY HEALTHY!

Depending on where the cyst is in his ankle, it could be significantly longer than 2 weeks. Maybe 1-2 months instead. I would also rather see him get it worked on early, than later if it's tearing shit up down there.

Yeah depending on where the cyst is on the ankle it could be between 1 to 3 months out at most(probably around 2 though) But like I said if youre going to have surgery do it now but I say you just keep on getting it drained and then when the offseason is here get it taken care of then.

I had a cyst removed surgically this summer, was at work the next day. And I worked as a camp counselor for third and fourth graders so it's not as though there wasn't running around. I'd have to think that this would knock him out no more than a week.

Thats good. I'm just writing from what I read online. Glad to hear it went good for you and if Kyle does it hopefully it goes good for him.

Thanks. It'll literally be a question of how quickly the skin heals. I had stitches but I'm sure they can fit him with some sort of bandage that decreases friction on the ankle. Like I said, a week tops if the injury is what's being reported.
