Korver or Brewer? Tom Thibodeau says SG's a camp battle

Nice, I was wondering if Thibs would focus Korver more on the SG role over the SF role on the team.

I would prefer Brewer to start..but in the end it doesnt really matter...Good to see some competition going on though.

i would rather have korv3r start. in spite of brewer being the better all around player, we need some damn shooting in our line up.

plus korv3r starting helps insure that he spends all his minutes on the floor at the same time as rose. for all his height, korv3r is one of the biggest liabilities on defense. we need to limit his time on the floor, so making sure he's out there for a drive and kick game of rose is a good plan. plus with watson, presumably he's found his shot, we wont have as strong of a need for korv3r in our second line up.

I think Korver should start too. Rose, Brewer, Deng, Boozer, Noah? Which one of them can spread the floor?? None. Korver can knock down the 3 and Watson and Gibson can offer some points off the bench and Brewer can come on and bring the defense off the bench.

i've never understood this position that a guy who can play multiple positions should come off the bench.

I think that Brewer is just being pushed in this situation and I have a feeling that Coach T wants him to start. Brewer hasn't reached his ceiling yet as a player while Korver pretty much has. As for long range shooting in the starting lineup...Deng is going to have to step up.

what if you gave brewer starting minutes while making him come off the bench? just to insure korv3r doesn't play when he's not needed.
