Right about now, the disbelief has faded, anger has subsided and were all wondering... why? Why. Why. Why Derrick, again? Derrick is more than an MVP to our team. He's our friend, our brother he inspires us to be the very best we can be, just by who he is and how hard he plays. That he has spent so much time this year hurt, was frustrating. Now that he is out for the rest of the season, well its just plain sad. No one is to blame; what happened, did. We send him our prayers, our love, our good wishes that he heals and comes back stronger, better, healthier than ever before.

Bulls fans. Now is not the time to ask why or to get bitter. Now is the time to refocus and ask "How are we going to win this Championship?" We have the best Team in the league. This season has proven, we are a TEAM and it has taken us ALL to have the best record. Lets focus on whats ahead. This is an incredible opportunity for All of Us to step up and make it happen. We're all gonna have to work harder and smarter. We are all gonna have to believe in ourselves. That we are more than the sum of our parts. We need YOU to believe with Us. We need You to believe for Us. We are going to keep going strong. One quarter, one game, one round at a time. Until its over. That's how we're gonna do it.

Hot sauce! If this injury makes the Bulls players tougher and decided to step up for their leader who went down we can do everything.

I'm still riding with my Bulls. Just mad and hurt right now. I will be fine by Tuesday. Then, it's take it out on Philly time.

Korver had a hell of a fucking game today.
We're going to need more of that if they plan on going deep. Him and Deng are going to have to be lights out and Boozer is going to have to be that #1 option with Rip giving us 17-24 ppg.

This is going to be the time that C.J. and Johnny Buckets and Asik are going to have to prove themselves.

Thank You Kyle Korver! I think we have all gone thru the same range of emotions the past few hours. That post was much needed & the Bulls will always have my wholehearted support no matter who is on the court!

Kyles words are very hopeful.
And the Bulls still have a very good team.
I'm still a little shell shocked over this, but i still believe in this team, but a championship this year is very slim in the chances book....but who knows, anything is possible in the NBA.
Maybe Lebron will get his hip broken by Chandler.
Maybe Kyle Krver will step up and become an MVP type player out of the clear blue.
The next Larry Bird :dunno:

Korver has been playing really well lately, meanwhile CJ Watson has fallen off the radar and is in a slump (Kinda like Korver was in the playoffs last year). Watson must get his shit together now. John Lucas needs to do what he did during the regular season. We could make this interesting, but again, fail to see how we overpower Miami with just our bench mob.

Korver's words are the truth. This is a TEAM first and foremost. It sucks having our best player out, but this team has proved it can win without him. This forces everyone to step up, man up, and bring their A games every night. This will be a good thing for the supporting cast...the less they have to rely on Rose for everything, the more dangerous we'll be with Rose when he comes back. There aren't a lot of positives to injuries like that, but that's one I'm hoping comes to reality.

Hopefully he shoots better than his career high 50% 3pfg he had 2 years ago in Utah to lead the Bulls to the Finals. :troll:
