I miss my boy!!!

I don't want everyone to forget how well he has played for us these playoffs if he never sees ice again. He has been as important to this team just as anyone else. One of our best checking forwards and defensive forwards. Played big against Vancouver and big against the Sharks.

May not see Andrew in a Hawks jersey next year. So it makes me a bit upset that he may not see cup final action for this team. The guy has put his heart and soul into the club since arriving in the Ruutu trade. Replacing a fan favorite like Ruutu is not an easy thing to do. Ladd stepped up to the challenge in my opinion. Ladd deserves to be on the ice for these finals. So unlucky that an injury is keeping him out. You know damn well Andrew wishes he was out there right now with the guys. But at the same time you know he is not feeling sorry for himself. He is a team player and always has been.

This ones for you Ladd!!! THANK YOU!!!

Ladd is a huge part of this teams success this year. It is a sign of how deep the Hawks are they doing so well without him. Ladd is a big part of the team defense. If he moves on he will be missed. You da man Ladder!!!

Ladd has been solid for the Hawks in the playoffs this year and last year... hope he can see some ice time in the SCF and that his injury has no long-lasting effects.

As Ruutu's biggest fan (i think many would agree with me) I was very upset when they traded him. When I saw what we got in return, I think we made out great, and I think Carolina made out as well.

Ladd has been a quiet wrecking ball out there. He goes unnoticed most of the time, he isn't gonna score a bajillion goals, he ain't gonna drop the gloves every game, but he will if asked. He is built for the playoffs.

I don't think he will be back next year, and that bothers me. Who is gonna step up in his place? He will be missed and he will be a thorn in the Hawks side anytime they play against him.

Thank Ladder. You are a great person on and off the ice. You are the embodiment of the word "Sportsman".

His snipe against Nabokov was awesome. For some reason I remember goals like that more than the pretty plays.

Eagers on Leighton will be unforgettable in my mind as well. Also Kanes snipe against the Wild on Backstrom, Buffs winner on Nabokov, and Havlats OT winner in game one last year against Calgary.

Not sure why I remember those over the fancy shit but hey, I can't complain.

Anyway, back on topic. I'd love to see Ladd re-signed. I think I was reading somewhere that they were going to try and get him back, not sure what that piece of info is worth but I would try if I were Bowman... assuming the price is right.

I feel like for the casual hockey fan, Ladd goes virtually unnoticed, but for me... I notice him a lot and appreciate his style.

I'm sort of like that also Ton. Something about those top corner snipes that just feel so good. It's just a fast style of goal and you would miss it if you blinked. They come far and few between for guys like Ladd and Eager. But when they do happen they are just that much sweeter. And they score em in the fashion where you know they worked hard and got messy to get to an open slot to take the shot.

Love those goals also.

I will say it I LOVE LADD. I liked Ruutu but it seemed like he never really reached his potential in chicago and when he was traded I was bumped and I called my buddy who was a Canes fan and asked him about Ladd and he wasn't diehard like most of us seem to be so he said "just standard 3rd liner type" so I wasn't exactly enthused about the trade but after watching him play and seeing what Ruutu has done in Carolina the Ladd-Ruutu trade was one of those few win-win trades and I am happy for Ruutu.

But for Ladd, I hope we can get Ladd for about 2 mil a year or so. I would love to see him kept, he is one of the smartest grinders I've ever seen. His hockey IQ is very high and sure he doesn't score a lot but he's worth keeping because of his two way game that leans heavily on defense.

Ladd's mom Cheryl is still pretty smokin' hot. I have been watching her on Las Vegas recently.

Seriously though, gotta love the Ladder.

Ladder is a game time decision for game 4. It would be awesome if he was out there tonight.

I hope Ladd can play tonight! But if he does, who sits? Burish probably, right? I don't think you can take out Pecker or Eager...both have played over their heads in this series. Burish has done the job too but hasn't been the difference maker the other two have.

Either way, a real tough decision tonight if Q goes with #16.

God I hope he is in tonight. Also wish I knew what exactly was keeping him out. Was such a harmless looking play in the San Jose game that got him. Shoulder, hand? Guess it is best undisclosed so if he does come in the Flyers won't be hacking at his injury...oh wait they will hack anyways.

Yah not sure who they would sit either. I would say Burish also. Hasn't been a difference maker out there and frankly has been rather invisible despite the good verbal attacks he has been laying down. I like Burish but meh hasn't done much for me thus far in this series to be honest. Probably would do better with more ice time but that's not going to happen is it?
