It's a sign of the rising expectations, a sign of what we hope this Bulls team can accomplish this season. The Bulls went into Cleveland, came out with a victory, but no one is likely too happy about it....

I remember with about 5mins to go I had a bad feeling about it. Some how they pulled it together though! A true sign of good things ahead.

i think we should mandate that all PG SG and SF were derrick rose masks, and all PF and C were either Noah or Boozer masks

We looked tired and not ready for last night thank god we have a playmaker and scorer in Derrick or we would have been in trouble!

It's odd because the second I jumped into the in-game thread on here and turned the game on, it was when we were down by 4 and the comeback initiated by Rose started and the Cavs were down and out by that time.

I remember games where we played better against the Cavs when they had LeBron. It was an all around suck fest that started with Boozer getting two quick fouls and turnovers in bulk. I remember when I heard the quote from Rose saying, "Why can't I be MVP?", I figured he was ready to come up big more frequently in moments of need. Glad he is, otherwise the Bulls would have a much worse record right now.

Cool to see Boozer win us one game and then Rose the next. When both are on, look out.

Time and time again keeps showing us how much of a stud D. Rose really is.. I feel like he keeps getting outshined by Rondo, but sooner or later he will be PG everyone wants.

True but that is also one of the most subjective questions you can ask in sports.

Whose the best QB of all-time? Whose the best PG in the NBA? Top 3 PG's in the NBA even.

There will never be a defined answer. So it's all about how one feels towards it.

Boozer was out of sync and maybe a bit fatigued. I expect a better team performance tomorrow vs LA.

Yea no doubt about it, just wish he got more attention/credability he deserves. Either way their rivalry will probably be one of the best in the next decade :D

Best QB? That's easy - Trent Dilfer! Not only is he the best QB of all-time, but the best & most unbiased ESPN commentator as well!!

Yeah, Boozer was definitely fatigued not too sure about out of sync. He's missed a couple of games and he's just getting back to it. I think he'll be fine for LA.

Boozer wasn't really out of sync or tired. He picked up 2 quick fouls, both of them rather iffy calls in my mind & had to sit. He never got into a rhythm & with the Cavs throwing Jamison out there at the 4, it was horrible defensive matchup for him so Thibs went with Deng & Gibson in extended minutes at the 4. As for tomorrow against LA, I can tell you this, Boozer WILL struggle & probably will not have a good game. LA's length has always bothered him & that's not going to change just cuz he's donning a Bulls uni.

The Bulls, in general, looked flat all game minus the first 3mins when we went up 10-0 & the last 3mins of the 4th when it was D Rose time. This team plays down to their competition, which is not a good sign. Yes we got the win, but as Rose put it best "It never should've come to that" at the end. We should've easily put this team away by 15+. I love that the players never seem to give up, but they need to bring 48 minutes of intensity everynight no matter the matchup.

What has changed is the Lakers don't have Bynum. If he was playing I'd be bracing for another bad game from Boozer, but with only Gasol I think there's at least some hope there.

speaking of LA's length is bynum back? I've never really thought of odom as a good post defender, so we might have that going for us. I remember Taj had a ridiculous game against the lakers last time. I hope taj and noah can continue their performances.

He's scheduled to return next week, so he'll miss the game against the Bulls.

I forgot Bynum wasn't back this week but regardless, Gasol will give him problems as will Odom, who will get extended minutes in the game at the 4, & will have a field day with Boozer on him defensively. Even without Bynum, Boozer has always seemed to struggle against LA. It's been that way for years now.

But hopefully tonight that trend is broken. :)
