It's just putting into article form what the rumours for the last few hours have been.

I'm not convinced anything is really true until LeBron says it, I mean it's in his interests to have a new rumour every few hours, and between the five teams he's had his share of them going around. Miami wasn't getting much love before today ... coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

We'll see, I say such a team bleeds and can be killed. And I think you'd have 29 teams fans rooting for it to happen. Heck, I'd even rather see Kobe win another ring and think he's Jordan than these guys get it.

I agree. If this happens I think I'll still be rooting for the West to win the finals every year like I have been.

If I was Lebron, I'd go to The Knicks. All they got is Amare, but I would make a lot of trades to surround Amare and Lebron with the best possible team. maybe even try to recruit Ricky Rubio for next season.

I don't think Lebron's going to Miami though. That's just insane. and would make the East pointless. Magic never went to go play with Bird. Jordan never went to go play with uuuummm well their was noone on his level but you get my point!

Where's the competition at? If Lebron stays loyal and with his home town, and signs with them tomorrow, he'll have a lot of my respect.

If he does, I'm boycotting the NBA and cheering for Kobe for the next 5 years. I will despise that team with all my soul...

Wow.. lol I feel you man..
I could see it now. NBA Finals Heat vs Lakers.
A picture of Kobe infront witha lakers uniform... Bosh,Wade and Lebron in the back in heat Uniforms.

And if LA would beat Miami.. Kobe would be considered even that much better.
Damn lol I'll be cheering for Kobe too.. Maybe Carmelo should look to go to LA.

Everyone should read this article if they haven't already. Not only is Simmons the best writer on ESPN but probably the best sportswriter in general. I'm in almost total agreement with every thing he says here. Not only do I feel the entire Wade/Bosh show in Chicago was a total farce but Lebron to Miami is the ultimate cop out for a player who does not trust his own talents or lacks the ultimate drive to be the greatest of all time. No superstar in the golden era of basketball (the glorious 1980's) would have ever made such a move.

Yep, Simmons is on the money, I loved the article.

If LeBron goes to Miami he's going from a guy who looked like he was headed to be in the debate for greatest player ever to a guy who isn't even going to be looked on as highly as Scottie Pippen. I mean at least Pippen was drafted into the sidekick role, he didn't seek it out like LeBron seems to be.

Imo if Lebron wins with them you cannot have him up there with Jordan,Magic,Larry, and Kobe.
