I've spoken with A.J., the creator of sendlebrontochicago.com, and the main issue was that images of players and teams could not be used on the billboard due to copyright issues. That's why pictures of LeBron, MJ, etc. were not used.

As for the slogan, I'm not sure who came up with it and why, but as long as there's a billboard that draws attention to this city...I'm cool with it.
