Dan LeBatard (Miami beat writer) recently wrote a long piece about how Derrick Rose doesn't deserve the MVP. Well, his boy, LeBron James, recently noted who his pick for MVP is:per Chicago Breaking Sports: "I think Derrick Rose," James said....

Everyone has their own opinion.

LeBron saying that doesn't give Derrick Rose 2 Conference player of the Month nods or up his field goal percentage to 50%. It doesn't change the fact that Russell Westbrook is just as good, if not better than Derrick Rose.

You either say things out of pure idiocy or to piss people off.

Westbrook is more efficient than Rose, but Westbrook isn't even the most valuable on his team. Neither is Lebron James. Rose is the MVP of the Bulls, and deserves consideration for MVP and the award for that matter.

What the hell does Conference player of the month Award have to do with anything? It's like winning the fed ex player of the week award in football. Lebron has always put up big numbers, he did it in Cleveland and he will do it in Miami. Now if he was putting up these numbers he has now while still in Cleveland than he probably would be upset he isn't in the front running for M.V.P as he would be carrying that team on his back all day instead of having an outlet in Wade or Bosh with better numbers than Rose but he isn't and being on a team with 3 All stars in 3rd place in the East is nothing to be proud of. As for Westbrook he would be good in Chi-town but would be confused as to why nobody is doubling Deng like they did Durant. Westbrook does not have to carry his team on his back like Rose does. Now stop this Conference player of the month award crap

I agree, that's such a weak argument. Going with that logic Landry Fields has 2 rookie of the month awards, as does John Wall. So I guess Fields should be runner-up to Blake Griffin this year in ROY voting?

...Actually...(thinks about it...begins nodding head)

When you put it that way, that explains it isn't so much about conference player of the month voting. If Landry Fields has in fact gotten that twice, clearly Blake Griffin is the ROY, right...?

Yeah. Good point, Kush.

You've destroyed that talking point for me...

Now the only one that remains is the Westbrook-Rose fiasco.

You're halfway there, my friend...good work.

ha ha, you crack me up Frank.

"Now the only one that remains is the Westbrook-Rose fiasco."

That's easily solved - Rose is better.

I'd like to see how much more efficient Rose would be playing side-by-side with the NBA's leading scorer that has to be constantly double teamed.

What "jokes" are you referring to? I thought I was just being me. No effort whatsoever at being joky. I just offer my opinion. We all have different personalities. Some of us have more color while others are black and white and don't really like having fun. That's all.

When you're in the public eye, you accept that some are going to despise you, that some will love you and that most will be halfway in between.

No worries on my end as far as that goes.

But thank you all the same for checking! :)

If you're looking to a message board for people to "like" your jokes, its sad.

...

You know...when you put it like that, it makes sense.

...

You know what, you're right Kush.

I haven't felt as confident as I do now.

Here, let me stand up and say this.

:Grabs mic: Pop Pop Pop...Tap Tap Tap...

Everyone? If you'll excuse me for just a moment...

Hou? Would you put down those ribs for just a moment? I have an announcement to make!

The 2010-2011 MOST VALUABLE PLAYER OF THE NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION...

IS...

(Drum Roll)

DERRICK....

CARACTER.

No, just kidding. DERRICK ROSE. OF THE CHICAGO BULLS.

Kush swayed me once and for all.

(Everyone applauds)

Thank you...

If I hurt you I'm sorry, but it's safe to say people on here don't appreciate your humor. If you want to stir the pot, I can live with that, in fact that's what this forum is all about. But then you have to play the "I don't like you" card. I do like you, it's just I don't like your humor.

Oh, I see. Since you personally don't care for what you perceive as my humor that means every single person on this forum doesn't like it either. Hmm...

Again, I'm not shooting for laughs on here. I'm just being me. If people laugh, it's unintentional. If people like you go elitist on me and accuse me of not being funny (since you certainly are God's gift to humor), it's unintentional.

I don't care for dark Hershey's chocolate but that doesn't mean everyone on earth hates it too. In fact, I'm guessing somewhere in East Chicago, there's a little boy walking into a Mobil Mart and buying a Hershey's dark chocolate as we speak.

On the other hand, I love toasted almond ice cream bars but that doesn't mean every single poster on this forum loves it too. In fact, I'm guessing I'm the ONLY one in Illinois who likes toasted almond ice cream bars.

We're all different with different tastes and different interests.

Doesn't mean everyone loves what we love, doesn't mean everyone hates what we hate.

A simple two name phrase is all that has to be said to explain how foolish the Westbrook Rose comparison is... that is Kevin Durant. If you can't grasp that concept then your either basketball disabled or ungrasping big picture concepts.
