I think Morin has a good chance of making the team. I believe 200k+ of his cap hit is actually bonuses, so that can be used towards the bonus cushion.

I'm not sure what Stalberg has done to deserve a spot over Morin, other than being a lower cap hit. Morin has already shown flashes of having the talent to play in our top 6, whether it be his play in the rookie tournament, pre-season games, or being one of the leading scorers in the OHL last year (while playing about 8 games less than most of he scoring leaders).

Whatever the Hawks decide I'll support. If they send him out to Rockford, I'll definately be heading out there for a game or two early in the season.

Leddy I agree won't be making the team out of training camp. He may get a midseason call up if Hendry or Boynton aren't cutting it. At that point his cap hit would be easier to fit in. that would also give the Hawks more of a chnace to see how he handles himself against professional players.
