I think there's probably lots of stuff Len could do better, but he's not totally bad. I usually just listen to the radio anyway hehe.

but i love brenly!

Brenly's a crotchety old man who lucked into a World Series win because Johnson and Schilling were able to overcome two games' worth of BH Kim fail :D But he certainly says some funny things that I enjoy. Every now and then he has really good insights though.

I agree with the first part, and I am okay with the second but I don't love Brenly. He is better than many that I have heard, but perhaps that is because the guys I can really compare him to are Steve Stone, Ron Santo, Joe Carter, and Dave Otto. He would rank second on that list.

Let me guess...because he is now on the southside.

Actually Stone was the guy that I would put ahead of Brenly. It would then go Santo, then quite a ways back Dave Otto, and then in farther behind Joe Carter.

:smh: not even near Hawk in the homerism. Len shows his bias and enthusiasm. Whenever Hawk calls a HR, its like the Sox just won the WS.
Hawk uses terms like good guys and bad guys. Len doesn't do that.

Len Kasper's voice is annoying as shit, but Hawk is too much of a homer.

Thats what I was getting at.

I like Pat more than Len, but what it comes down to is that Keith Moreland's voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

But Brenly will always be my favorite. He tells it how it is, good times or bad.

I like Len. He offers a nice balance of fan and Professional. He never gets too excited or pissy about a play. Obviously if the Cubs have a walk off or a grand slam he gets excited but it never seems too obnoxious.
