I bet that girl Mike wrote the letter too told people during the 90s that she used to date him in high school and no one believed her so she had to show the letter lol. Jordan moved on. So I hope the money she got for selling it was worth it.

I am not a big Jordan fan off the court, but I don't think that letter was so bad...it might not be grammatically perfect, but its written to a girl...unless she's a Rhodes scholar, she doesn't care about all that either. It's hand written and signed by him, the boy was in love, or in heat, or both...
He is known by friend and foe alike to be a very intelligent man, he knows a lot about topics other athletes don't know about. I have heard beat writers speak of how "well-rounded" he was as a person overall, and how extensive his knowledge was in his youth and is now.
I would hate to have some of my old love letters, filled with fragmented sentences and misspelled words for everyone to see...lol

actually, coming out of HS, MJ wasn't considered to be THAT good. I think I heard that he wasn't even ranked in the top 150 high school players when he was entering college.

jordan was a pretty damn good player when he got to college...he wasnt nearly on lbj's or any other high school phenom's level or possessed the talent lbj had...but he was a late maturer and in addition had a great work ethic
