Oct. 8 is the release date for Lionheart: King's Crusade (see screenshots) from Paradox Interactive and Neocore Games.
In the real-time strategy game, players take command as either Richard the Lionheart or Saladin in a battle for the Holy Land 1189 to 1192.

- Tripwire Interactive announced the official title for its new game will be Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. The WWII shooter is set for a 2011 release. Visit www.heroesofstalingrad.com.

- Paradox announced two new independent titles using its Europa Engine. Darkest Hour features campaigns from the Great War to the start of the Cold War. Iron Cross is an expansion of the grand strategy game Hears of Iron II that will cover the years 1933 to 1964.

- A hidden object game for the PC comes from Mastertronic. In FBI: Paranormal Cases, players take the role of an FBI agent trying to unlock a global conspiracy.
- Konami Digital Entertainment announced the release of Ninety-Nine Nights II for the Xbox 360. Players take the role of one of five species in massive battles for survival. The company promises three packs of DLC starting next month.
- Beta keys are still available for M.A.T. - Mission Against Terror from Wicked Interactive. The game is a free-to-play online shooter. Visit http://mat.subagames.com.
