Yeah he might of been asked the question of if he thought he'd be able to attract a top DC or some shit to make him say that. Either way this is good to hear for the Bears if Ben Johnson is atop their list for HC which we already know he is.

I assume he's basing that on the respect that Johnson has around the league, nothing more

rumors suggest he may only be 2nd with Vrabel in the top spot, but they are only rumors to be sure

What does that have anything to do with BJ being able to find a good DC.

Similar to the "reports"(I put it in quotes, because its just espn 1000 driving a narrative) of him picking a GM if he comes here.

He may be a good/great offensive coach, that doesnt mean he knows shit about scouting, player personnel or picking coaches.

And what the heck would he know about that among coaches. Even if he was a total boneheaded, he’d have no idea. But that dudes and idiot so…
