Only really interesting tidbit:

Noah admits he "world toured" a bit too much last summer, traveling to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Miami, France and Sweden. Whenever this season ends, he plans to split his time between Chicago and Bradenton, Fla., where he is scheduled to train at the IMG Academy.

(IMG would be with David Thorpe which is where Tyrus / Luol worked albeit, both only did a week there).

Yea I read it on that piece of crap message board which will remain nameless. Good article. I am excited about Noah and what he can be with some bulk.

DeJuan Blair is apparently going to be working out at IMG Academy also, so maybe Noah can battle it out with Blair and build a relationship with him prior to the draft.

Blair may not be high on potentional as some other young players entering the draft, but I think he'd be a very safe pick at the 16th spot. Most important, he feels a need - width, size and strength. We have Miller which fills that need, but for how much longer?

Noah and Tyrus have been playing really well with a big body alongside them, and with Blair they'll have another wide active body to protect them in the paint. The thought of a Noah and Blair front court, sounds a lot more assuring and stable than a Noah and Tyrus line up in my mind.

Blair and Noah may not give you the highlight dunks and blocks, but I sure as hell can practically be certain that Blair won't make as many bone-headed plays, or give up on so many plays as Tyrus does. I can picture Noah and Blair out-hustling most front-courts in this league for many years.

VOTE FOR BLAIR.

Sorry, this is a thread for Noah, but hey. I love you too Noah, gain some weight and strength this summer, but not too much. He is probably the most agile center in the league right now, and it's too his advantage. I'd like him at about 240 at the most I think. Maybe 250 as he matures a little more, and learns a few more tricks where he won't have to rely on his athletic ability too much. But the most important thing he should work on is his lower body strength, more-so than his upper body strength. It's all fine and dandy to have well defined arms, and 6-packs, but when you're a post player, lower body strength importants trumps upper body strength in every way. Same with Tyrus, but I see the chances of Tyrus working on his body unlikely. Tyrus has been a major disappointment with what he has done with his body in the past 3 seasons, the difference has been so minimal it's laughable. Whereas with Noah after such a terrible start to the season, he actually looks like he is getting bigger and more toned by the week.

Let's leave the bitterness at the door. Live in the now, not in the past. If you let the past bother you then you'll always be bothered.

I was playing basketball with a guy who was probalby 6'5 and 400 lbs yesterday. He was on my team in a game of 2 on 2. I've never played with someone who had such a wide body before, but man, it's amazing how much it helps to have someone with a wide body out there.

The stuff you can do off a screen from such a guy is amazing. Not that Blair (or any NBAer) is going to be that wide.

Which is why I think Blair should be our guy to draft. We're seeing how good Davis has been. and with Rose and Gordon Blair would be nice

On Noah:

Watching him this postseason he is a must keep. The kid has me believeing that he can be a double double guy. I see Noah as a 9-10pts, 10-12rebs, 2blks and 3ast guy next year

All he has to do is get stronger like he said he will.

I came into the postseason thinking Tyrus would be the guy people will be talking about but it's Noah

it's nice, because noah's responded to the pressure.

people forget that this was noah's first playoff game ever too, and he led the nba that night in rebounding with 17 boards.

if he gains leg muscle, i'm excited for next year.

You are much the wiser Doug. You are right, this board has been amazing.
