Yeah bitches, just came down from the mountains. Did 80 miles in over 9 nights. 11 days or some shit. I know I'm boasting, but it was pretty cool.

I was 20 miles deep into these peeks at about 10,000-11,000 feet:

Amazing trip right there.

I did 50 miles through Wind River Range in Wyoming in my younger days. Hard on the body, but great for the soul.

You haven't seen a great night sky until you are in the mountains miles away from any city lights.

Congrats on your trip and like Ole asked, how did travel the 80 miles?

Here is where I was a week ago.....the titty bars are much better here, and the smoked meat sandwiches rock too.

Fun fact, I actually took a bio course in that cylindrical building, but all I remember is staring at this Costa Rican chick every class. One of the hottest chicks i've ever encountered in my lifetime.....Coming back to chicago is kinda a buzzkill for that.

Its not just the sights, but what really hit me in some of the secluded valleys was just a perfect silence. It was so trance-like that when the cry of a passing hawk broke it...I jumped thirty feet in the air.

Best night sky I've ever seen is right here. (the arrow, not the X)

The arrow. No idea what the x is. The area by the arrow is Big Bend. Probably the darkest spot in the continental US. Or at least according to the Dark Sky Association. Middle of fucking no where.

Being out in the wilderness, whether in desert canyons or the high country gets me high. Alters mah state of consciousness. Not sure what it is but its pretty cool. Also, the sierra nevada is pretty cool cause you can walk like 200 miles and never cross a road and its epic as ****. Like lord of the rings and shit.
