Luol Deng Question ?

With the trade for John "the fish" Salmons and Brad "slow motion" Miller Bulls seem to have a good rotation since Luol Deng got hurt. If Luol deng was healthy Salmons minutes probaly would have decreased but the bulls would have a deeper rotation. With that said would salmons have the same impact that he is having now if Luol Deng was playing? Do you guys think if Luol Deng was playing, the bulls would have a better record or worse record with him in the lineup? :huh:

I think Salmons was already playing pretty well even when Deng was here. But he wouldn't be getting 38-40 minutes he has been getting. More like 28-30 by playing more at SG and SF.

One thing is taht then we would not have had to go 3-guard lineup - and most definitely would have won games against Toronto and Indiana.

So I would say we would be better and Salmons would still be good.

It depends. Are we talking about a healthy Luol Deng in the lineup, or the one that has something nagging him causing his play to dramatically drop off? The answer to that is the answer to your question IMO.

I think chances are that Salmons would still find a way to get decent minutes, whether it be with Kirk playing less or just playing around with guys at different positions.

Your thoughts on psychics? I admit I'm skeptical but there was a guy named John Edwards who had a show on cable a few years ago and it was pretty impressive. One night he was on Larry King live and was taking calls from viewers and doing readings. He was dead on. Now, were they all shills and setups? I don't know - didn't seem like it. Even Larry King seemed pretty impressed.

Besides, James Randi and his group have been doing this for years. I think it used to be $10,000 but they've upped it over the last decade or so.



Randi is an extremely intelligent man and his discussions with Yuri Gellar are epic.

Its been around for years as far as I know. Nobody can meet his criteria.



He requires specifics, which beyond a reasonable doubt prove someone predicts a specific event or knows specific things without prior knowledge. Which rightly so. Anybody can take some abstract blathering about the future, and try to connect it to an event that has already occurred like people do with Nostradamus.



Same BS with the bible code. There were a few mathematicians that did the same thing with run of the mill novels. If you have a big enough book with enough words, and institute a pattern of reading letters, you are bound to find what you are looking for, its simply coincidence.

I love that notion that humans can communicate by some manner other than spoken word or body language. Consider pack animals for a moment. Do they make gestures and noises to communicate? Not always and you can see it if you observe them enough.



It is always interesting to me when 'coincidences' happen between me and a close person, a lover or friend, or even a coworker that I interface with regularly. Like when you and your spouse call each other at the exact same time to talk about the exact same thing (but it happens randomly or at a time when you don't normally do so).



Telepathy and telekineses are two amazing abilities that I think exist but are still very rare. I hope our minds will continue to evolve to a point where those traits will be much more common and we will have a better control over them.
