I got this game and have been playing. Here are some thoughts....
So EA and Madden go through a cycle with this franchise. They refine the game until it is very good, if not great, and very playable and fun.
However, because they are scamming the public with $60 roster updates, they have to make some kind of tweak or new game mode every year to try and mask the scam. What happens, is they add new physics or revamp O or D. This ALWAYS fucks the game all up. They then spend the next 2-4 years fixing it back to a playable game.
The reality is that they had more or less perfected the game in 2007 or 2008. And there has been no reason to release new Maddens other than every 3-4 years for graphics updates and balancing tweaks.
But, like I said, because they want to sell a full game EVERY FUCKING YEAR, they have to **** with the game to try and justify the cash grab. Again, they generally **** the game up, and spend 3 years trying to get back to what they had in 2008.
Madden 15 seems to be back on the upswing of this tard cycle. The gameplay is much better than last year and they are getting close to being as good as Madden 08. If madden 16 just builds and refines without adding a bunch of new gamebreaking shit, it could be a very good game.
But then you are still the asshole that pays $60 for EA to break their own game, then $60 a year for 3 years for patches to make the thing fucking playable.
