What have you done on your Madden 11 franchise? Today, I edited the rosters (the entire Bears and some other teams) to my liking. I feel like some of the ratings were bullshit. However, I did not go overboard with them. For my franchise, I traded Chris Harris, Al Afalava, and a second round pick for the 49ers' Taylor Mays (I really liked this kid's ability to hit hard and his intensity although his coverage isn't the greatest. I use my gameplan w/ safeties doing more zones...and he has an 80 OVR rating in zone coverage), Mike Iupati, and Anthony Davis. Since they are all rookies, their ratings will do nothing but skyrocket throughout the years. Iupati was rated an 83, which is an upgrade from Asiata (74) or Beekman (72). Anthony Davis was rated at 75 (same as Shaffer and Omiyale) but he is younger and as I mentioned, he will continue to improve. I made these moves because after multiple games, the safeties aren't as useful compared to corners or linebackers in coverage...isn't realistic, but doesn't matter. Taylor Mays hits hard along with Major Wright, and I found this disrupts passes much more than ballhawks with my playcalling. I also signed Adewale Ogunleye, and traded him along w/ Israel Idonije and a first rounder for Tyson Alualu. I wanted my defensive line to be even more dominant, and a line of Peppers, Alualu, Harris, and Anderson defines dominance. I then signed Mike Brown to be used in prevent situations and add depth. I will continue to give y'all an update on some things, but what have you done w/ your franchise?
