My guess is some guys will be in early. I also suspect that most of the film watching things like that can be done from home now. Lastly, after 170 some games and ~7 months I am not sure what you can really go over in another 2 hours that is going to make that much of a difference. No one is going to make over their swing to day or change that drastically.

Like you said it is game 5 of the world series. Probably does not make sense to make drastic changes now.

You know they can do that shit inside or they can choose to show up and do it. I suspect that they will be as prepared for the game as they can be. If you think the reason they are losing this series is the later mandatory time by the manager you are not watching the games.

I would venture to guess it will be the first time in the history of the modern world series a team shows up 90 mins before the game.

Part of his quirkiness and trying to keep everything the "same"....too bad he managing vs a team who's manager is treating every game and out differently than what is normal.

End of the day, guys will hit or they wont...maybe this loosens them up but seems like a strange time for this antic.

I am stunned that this team not so much that they lost the first two games in Chicago but the way youve lost. 2 runs in 2 games? I never wouldve imagined that especially against Clevelands starting pitching which outside of Kluber was a concern.

They already prepared for Bauer and all the relievers they will see. Maddon is awesome!! He sees the pressure and team pressing and he says...ok this is it. Just show up and fight.

The guy is a brilliant mad scientist. He built this programming into his players for just such a situation. I think thats what "show up and play week" was for. Rest sure, but also to see what his guys do relaxed and build some confidence in that concept.

They played awesome during show up and play week and I think they will tonight also.
