That was a nice writeup but I don't see that any major improvements can be made quickly ... if they do, they may not get immediate acceptance.

MLB playoff process could be longer. That's all I see on TV or the internet.

Take about 20 games off the regular season schedule, play the playoffs like the regular season with a day of travel and then back to playing games. Like this year we knew who was in the series on Saturday night and they don't play until Wednesday? Should have at least started on Tuesday. Baseball needs to do some different things, stop competing with college and pro football. They could also start the games earlier so 10 year old kids can actually see most of the game. All these things will never happen because everyone involved in baseball is all about the money. Baseball needs to have some new blood in the front offices of MLB. Bud is Bud which means he is dumb. Younger blood with new thoughts and ideas would make baseball better. The NBA is a bout to become the 2nd most popular sport in the USA which in my book is a sad sad day.
