Is it safe to say that tomorrows makeup game versus Colorado will be PPD with the storms we have in the area? I do not want to drive an hour there to have it postponed again.

I wouldn't say it is safe to say. Again I live about three hours west of the city. It feels like it might storm, but really we have been dry so far tonight.

Im just an hour north of the city. I was pretty disppponted with the way the called the game on the 27th of april. The day turned out perfect with no rain as we were driving home.

And then they turned around and played through crap for rain shortened games later...
I can't tell you one way or the other, but generally speaking what hits us here will get to you guys about four or five hours down the road. And so far there have been a few flashes but no thunder (might have been heat lightning but don't know as if it was hot enough for that). And while the way the wind blows feels like rain, it is still dry here.

If only it would rain every day the Cubs are scheduled to play so the rest of season can be cancelled.

It is a good thing that the Cubs are always scheduled for an away game during the *** parade, otherwise there would be a PPD game, even if it was at home!

Most of the ick has either passed or is to the south so I think the game gets played. Might want to check your weatherbug though before you get in the car.

I think Rami was good in 2007 and 2008 though. His injury in 2009 definitely sucked as he was really good while the Cubs were still in contention. I think he has some life left but we're not going to see awesome Rami as much anymore.

Can't complain so far today. The Cubs did a great a job jumping on one of the better pitchers in the NL this year. A great afternoon for Ramirez and Pena.

I am a rockies fan (chicago fan for all other sports) and was surprised to see Chacin pitch as bad as he did. Was a fun game and im glad the weather cleared up even though we lost.
