Male Breastfeeding

Yesterday on Tyra they had a guy that wants to breastfeed his baby. It showed him using a breast pump trying to stimulate his body to lactate. So I just wondered if any of you would ever consider doing that? Do guys want their own boobs to be big? I was a little disturbed by it, but am trying to have an open mind.

My quick answer no way. Also most guys don't want boobs, although a lot do. As a chubby fella myself I have to contend with some manboobs. And I don't like them.

It wasn't my idea for this guy to breastfeed. I'm just reporting what I saw and letting you guys know the options that are available to you. I told you I found it disturbing.





She also had first cousins on there that were married and trying to have a baby, but I thought that would be too much ickiness for you guys to deal with at one time. And for the record if one of my cousins and I were the only two people left on earth man would become extinct cause no way I'm doin' my cousin.

Is it really even possible? I know we have nipples but, I mean do we actually have the behind the scenes equipment to produce milk?



From what Ive read and understand the only reason men have nipples is the aftermath of the fact the fetus essentially starts out female and apparently women have antibodies or something in them to try and make the baby female ( I was just watching a documentary on it and this is how I absorbed the content). A population with more females than males is more likely to survive I think thats the biological logic behind it.

Men have breast tissue and can even develop breast cancer. Not very much of it though and I would think you'd have to bombard it with hormones to induce lactation.
